I cranked it all the way up and it just lightly hums, and there’s no vibration in the hand piece. It’s so nice to be able to hear other people or the tv, instead of hearing the chattering roar of a cheap efile. My hand wasn’t crampy or numb after using it, which has happened with a cheap efile I bought in the past. The torque is torque-rific - I was able to chew through a super thick acrylic set without the bits getting stuck or stopping, and the hand piece stayed comfortable and cool.
